Records & Time Standards
There are three major levels of time standards used: Regional, Provincial and National. Each level holds two major meets per year, one for short course (25m pool) and one for long course (50m pool).
Regional Time Standards: Regional time standards are established each year by the EOSA governing body. All swimmers from EOSA clubs who have met or exceeded the time standards may participate. Swimmers must meet the following time standards:
Provincial Time Standards: Swim Ontario sets the provincial level time standards for each of the age groups across Ontario. These time standards are more difficult to achieve than the Regional standards.
National Time Standards: National level time standards are set each year by Swimming Natation Canada (SNC) and are the same for every swimmer across Canada.
East Coast Championship Time Standards: The East Coast Championships is included in this year's meet schedule. Swimmers must obtain the East Coast Championship time standards to attend.
Meet Results: For current meet results http://www.swimming.ca/meetlist.aspx. To view Ontario meets, select SWIMON under province, and "Eastern" under region. To view upcoming swim meets, select the "Upcoming Swim Meet" tab at the top of the page.
Club Records: Team records (short course Female, long course Female, short course Male, long course Male) are kept for Females and Males as far back as 2005; prior to this date we have no records for our club.
